I designed and illustration labels for Poon’s traditional Chinese pantry products inspired by antique Chinese firecracker labels.
Poon’s London is a revived Chinese culinary brand & restaurant, originally established as an iconic restaurant in Covent Garden in the 1970s. It is now led by Amy Poon and offers high quality Chinese ingredients.
I recreated the beautiful halftone texture that gave the vintage Chinese labels so much character.
